Chinese Proverb

Do not confine your children to your own learning, for they were born in another time.~Chinese Proverb
This is what exactly my eldest daughter told me. I was born in my time, not hers. Her line of thinking was enforced by her school. I understand though, but what I was after was for her not to compromise to anything untoward.
