Happy Guy Inspirational

From Happy Guy

"Spend a little time around kids and you might just be reminded of a sad truth. We adults simply don’t laugh enough. We are just too serious.

Yes, even people who spend a lot of time on hobbies, entertainment and recreation – not-so-serious pursuits – don’t necessarily laugh that much.

Laughter is a great way to reduce stress and increase happiness.

Every one of us should find ways to laugh a lot more. It’s good for
the body and good for the soul."

Note: I thought of reposting this in full rather than paraphrasing. That of the above, my children and I never lacked of.

CONFIDENCE

"Amateurs built the ark Professionals built the Titanic" If you have ever had any self-doubt. If you ever wonder if you can really do something, consider this lesson in shipbuilding. Put your heart and soul into what you do and you can do it. And whether you succeed or fail, you will absolutely be happier knowing that you gave it your best shot.

FRIENDSHIP

A real friend increases your self-esteem.

A real friend shows genuine affection.

A real friend does not judge you.

A real friend is there when the crocodiles attack.

A real friend makes you a better person.

Why not be a real friend to someone?

GO

"Feeling lost? Don’t worry, every road leads somewhere. Sometimes, if you feel your life is stagnating, it’s not the direction that matters, but rather the movement. Get up and go. Move. If you feel like you’re going nowhere, start living just by going somewhere." ~The Happy Guy

Happiness

This is the day you get to make the big decision. You can choose to
let happiness find you from time to time, when it happens to be
passing through.

Or you can choose to embrace happiness, to hug it tightly to your
body and to your spirit. You can choose to be happy regardless of
passing circumstances.

Don’t worry, happy things will happen and unhappy things will
happen. It’s your choice whether to these passing things control
your happiness or whether you will retain control.

PIPE

"Procrastination? Indecision? Paralysis? Equivocation? (PIPE, for short)

Maybe you don’t have these problems, but it seems I do. It’s not me on my own, but being married, I tend to wait until we both get around to agreeing on something. Given that at any one time either of us has a gazillion past-urgent priorities, just discussing something – never mind agreeing on something – can be an exercise in
futility.

Case in point – the sand box. After two years of discussing where to put it…

So I started digging a hole. Yes, now we have decided where to put it, because that’s where the hole is.

The lesson? When delayed by PIPE, just start doing. Before you know it, things will get done."
